Suspect Arrested in Tucson Realtor Attack and Attempted Abduction

Two months after an attack and attempted kidnapping on a pregnant realtor, Tucson Police Department says they believe they have the arrested the suspect.

On Oct. 8, 911 received a panicked call detailing an attack and kidnapping attempt made near Glenn Street and Mountain Avenue in Tucson. When officers arrived on scene, they found a woman who had been seriously injured.

During the investigation, officers determined that an adult female victim, a realtor, was showing a house to a potential buyer. During the showing of the house, the male adult suspect assaulted her with a weapon and attempted to physically restrain her. During the struggle, the victim was able to escape and call 9-1-1.


Detectives determined the suspect and issued an arrest warrant for 37-year-old Donasti Davonsiea, also going by the alias of Juan Nunley Jr. Two months later the suspect was detained in El Paso, Texas.

Due to the injuries the victim sustained during the assault, police learned that she miscarried three days after the attack. Police reports that the victim is recovering with family.

Davonsiea will be extradited back to Arizona to face charges from the attack.
