A Surprise man has been arrested and charged for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl.

Surprise Police Department say Omar Santana, 28, had sexual contact multiple times with a teen over several weeks, in addition to providing her with illegal drugs.

“I am very proud of our police officers and detectives who worked tirelessly to gather the facts and evidence necessary to get this predator off the streets of our community,” Surprise Police Chief Benny Piña said in the release.

Santana was booked into Maricopa County Jail on one count each of sexual conduct with a minor, sexual exploitation of a minor, furnishing harmful material to a minor and luring a minor for sexual exploitation, police said.
