Rock and Roll Hall Legend Stevie Nicks has announced plans to postpone her Thursday appearance in her hometown because of illness.

Concert promoters say that Nicks was scheduled to play Phoenix’s Ak-Chin Pavilion on Thursday, October 6th, but Nicks made the decision to postpone due to doctor’s orders “for vocal rest.”

The 74-year-old was recently diagnosed with a non-COVID respiratory ailment. Live Nation announced that the show has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.

Ak-Chin Pavilion made the announcements that the venue will honor all previously purchased tickets on the new date and that ticket holders will receive updates via email.
