Sprouts Breaks Ground on New Phoenix Headquarters Campus

180,000-square-foot site to include grocery store, retail space, and wellness amenities

PHOENIX — Construction officially began Monday on a new Sprouts Farmers Market headquarters campus in north Phoenix, marking a major investment in the company’s future and the rapidly growing region.

The campus, located near 56th Street and Loop 101 within the CityNorth development, will serve as the home base for the grocery chain’s corporate operations. The project spans more than seven acres and includes a four-story, 144,500-square-foot office building, along with a 25,000-square-foot Sprouts grocery store.

In addition to the main structures, the development will include 11,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space and a three-story parking garage. Future phases of the campus may bring amenities like a gym, yoga studio, café, and tasting rooms.

“This project represents a major investment in the future of north Phoenix,” said Kirk Jonovich, vice president at Wespac Construction, which broke ground on the project. “The new campus will be a cornerstone for innovation, wellness, and economic development in this region for years to come.”

The development is being led by Trammell Crow Company and follows Sprouts’ announcement in April that it had finalized the deal for the new headquarters site.
