Spectator Rule Change at the Waste Management Phoenix Open

The PGA Tour spectator mobile device policy has been updated this year starting at The Northern Trust Tournament. This year’s Waste Management Phoenix Open broke attendance records with 655,434 spectators at the TPC Scottsdale. Phoenix open spectators will now be allowed to:

– Capture photos, video, and audio in all areas throughout tournament week

– Flash may not be used


– Devices must be on silent

– Content may be used for personal use (personal social media), no commercial use

– No shot by shot, live streaming, or real-time coverage

– Data use is allowed in all areas throughout tournament week

– Phone calls are allowed only in designated areas

– Spectators must be respectful of play and not interfere with players, caddies, or media

– No standalone photo or video cameras allowed during tournament days (allowed on practice days only)

– All instructions and signage from tournament staff must be observed

– Failure to comply with the policy may result in the revocation of your ticket

The 2018 Waste Management Phoenix Open presented by the AK-Chin Indian Community, will be held January 29th – February 4th, 2018 at the TPC Scottsdale.
