SkoolLive Inc. Starts Fundraising Program in Phoenix Schools

SkoolLive Inc. has introduced its fundraising program in schools located in Phoenix. The digital kiosks will enable students to experience a more streamlined way of getting to know about school announcements, sport activities, and more.

For those of you who might not know SkoolLive Inc. is a company based in San Diego. The company provides schools with digital kiosks that are meant to change the way schools make daily announcements, and advertise. Each digital kiosk is a 60-inch high-definition screen and is interactive. The said screen will be used to display messages and announcements that were previously posted in schools through various banners and posters. The kiosks are weather resistant and are locked in cages for safety.

According to the founder, president, and CEO of SkoolLive, Geroge Burton, the schools don’t have to pay for the kiosks. The cost of the installed kiosks is paid by the businesses whose banner advertisements will be displayed on the screens. SkoolLive Inc. is responsible for finding sponsors so schools won’t have to. Schools with installed kiosks are also given 30% of the sponsorship revenue.

Burton also went on to say that while schools have done advertising through sponsorships for years, SkoolLive Inc. allows schools to have more control over how advertisements are shared with the students.

There are some groups who are worried about the nature of information these interactive screens might ask from the students. While schools do ask for student information it is through their parents who trust that the shared information will remain protected. The digital kiosks pose a problem regarding the kind of information advertising businesses might ask from the students without parental supervision.

Burton was quick to share that he has worked closely with the schools in order to place various checks and balances. The necessary steps that have been taken by the school and his company ensure the quality of the content being advertised to students, and the kind of engagement value offered.

Presently a total of 71 SkoolLive Inc. kiosks have been installed in 38 schools located all over Arizona. These schools include Washington High School, Cactus Shadows High School, Bourgade Catholic High School, and more. Burton also shared that 200 kiosks are already installed in other states while a 1000 more are awaiting installation.
