Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Hiring

Job-seeking Valley residents looking for a job now have new opportunities as the weather warms up in the Valley of the Sun.

One such opportunity lies with Phoenix water park Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is hiring for the season and are currently looking to add employees to the workforce.

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor opens on March 14 and in preparation for the busy spring and summer season, the park is looking to hire roughly 500 staff members.


The waterpark job opportunities vary over 15 different categories including security, lifeguards, cooks, food and beverage staff, cashiers, EMT’s, and supervisors.

“Six Flags is a world-renowned leader in service and entertainment and we’re looking forward to hiring motivated, responsible individuals to join our team for the 2020 season,” Donald Spiller, the park’s general manager, said in the release.

“New team members will be given opportunities to learn and grow as they’re trained on Six Flags’ unwavering standard of safety and guest service.”

Job applicants must be at least 16 years of age, and can visit the company website to learn more about the job openings online.

Hurricane Harbor has over 30 attractions, including a 700,000-gallon wave pool, a winding lazy river and a 4,700 square-foot splash pool. In addition the park holds occasional fireworks displays and “dive in movies” for patrons.
