Small Business Administration Administrator Maria Contreras-Sweet will be in Phoenix on Thursday for the National Small Business Week.

Contreras-Sweet will meet with Arizona business leaders and later host an “armchair discussion” with U.S. military veterans and small business owners. That includes Angela Cody-Rouget, MajorMom CEO, and Eli Crane, owner of Bottle Breacher, who were both contestants on the TV show “Shark Tank.”

The event is open to the public and will also be lstreamed live at www.sb.gov/nsbw.

The discussion, which includes Rick Murray, Arizona Small Business Association CEO, will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Arizona Biltmore in the McArthur Ballroom. 

The National Small Business Week conference started Sunday.
