Children’s Museum of Phoenix

Adventures in Space Summer Camp

This is another great camp to bring any child to this summer. Here, a student will learn about everything, space. It is for kids in grades K-8 and runs from June 6th to August 5th. This program lasts for a week long and consists of either half or full days. The program will also teach students how astronauts operate and work in space and much more that includes hands-on activities to teach each student all about space.

Hubbard Summer Sport Camps

Hubbard Summer Sport Camp is great for any athletic child from 5-13. The camp aims to teach skills to improve the athletic abilities of a child in volleyball, archery, basketball, soccer, swimming, and field sports. This camp also teaches the values needed for good sportsmanship and team work in their chosen sport.

Valley Youth Theatre

If a child is theatrical, then this is the perfect program for them! It consists of two programs, in the summer, that last 4 weeks: the All Star Summer Playhouse which is for children 5-6 and the Musical Theatre Summer Workshop for children 7-17. Both camps teach the student skills and values needed for performing on stage. Another plus is that on the final day of camp, there is a performance given to showcase all that was learned to the child’s family and friends.

Camp Zoo at the Phoenix Zoo

This is an interesting camp that gets a child involved with nature and animals of all types. Here a child will learn about everything from animal training to the basic care of animals. This camp is for students in grades K-8 and lasts for a week. It also consists of many different classes, dependent on the age. The child will also be able to interact with animals up-close and get involved in activities and games.
