Police Searching For ‘Armed and Dangerous’ Man After Deadly Shooting in Pinal County

After a deadly shooting on Monday night in Pinal County, authorities are searching for an “armed and dangerous” man after he allegedly fatally shot his wife.

Officials say they received a call around 9 p.m. from a child at a home in Stanfield who reported a family member had been shot by her husband.

The victim, a 30-year-old woman, whose name has not been made public, died from the attack.


The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office said they are looking for suspect Ismael Ortega Hernandez, 32, who was seen running away from the home around 9 p.m. Hernandez’s cellphone was found in the area.

Hernandez is described as thin, 5-foot-6, last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants. He is considered armed and dangerous.
