Authorities in Peoria are currently on the lookout for a teenager who has gone missing.
According to reports, Serena Cox is a 13-year-old girl who is identified as a 5-foot-6 black female, weighing 145 pounds. She has long black braids with blue tips and brown eyes. Her last known outfit included a black shirt, navy plaid pajama pants, and a pink backpack.
On Saturday at around 8 p.m., Cox was spotted leaving her group home without authorization on foot near the intersection of Sonoran Mountain Range Road and W. Ashby Drive.
Due to her medical condition, she needs medication, which she did not bring with her. Additionally, she did not bring her cell phone.
Due to her young age, she is classified as missing or endangered.
