Bedford, Massachusetts, the year 2000 – The worldwide perception of bacon was about to change drastically as three college students decided to give bacon the credit it deserved. From then on, the Saturday before the first Monday of September is known as the International Bacon Day. However, what started out as a crazy idea, has turned into a nationwide annual sensation. People from all over the USA (and Canada!) celebrate in honor of bacon by getting off on bacon-inspired dishes and drinks.
That was the reason why Snooze, An AM Eatery took the initiative of hosting a celebration event for bacon enthusiasts. From California and Colorado to Arizona and Texas, bacon fans are welcome to enjoy the day’s special dishes and drinks on September 3rd, 2016 and celebrate this unique holiday Snooze-style.
To make things even better, this year Snooze hosts a social media contest where fans got a chance to win a year-round free supply of Tender Belly bacon. Bacon-licious or what? All potential winners need to do is show up at a nearby Snooze all day from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm and indulge in an International Bacon Day Special.
