Phoenix & Tucson Cinco de Mayo Deals To Celebrate At Home

You might still be quarantined at home, but that doesn’t mean you have to skip celebrating Cinco de Mayo this year! The popular May holiday falls on Taco Tuesday, so with the stay-at-home order still in effect, plan to celebrate from the comfort of your home.

Below are a few restaurants offering specials and deals so you can get your tacos and tequila fix on this popular Arizona holiday.

Phoenix Area Deals

Barrio Queen  Barrio Queen is helping you celebrate with $2 tacos all day. There are a couple kits you can order for $40. The Antojitos Kit that comes with a dozen pork taquitos, a dozen chicken quesadillas, a pint of Dip de Queso, a pint of salsa, an order of guacamole, and two things of chips. Another kit option is the Tamale Kit that comes with a dozen tamales of your choice from green chile pork, red chile chicken or veggie either hot or frozen, a quart of rice, a quart of black beans, guacamole, salsa and two things of chips. Those looking for a beverage kit, you don’t want to miss the $45 Casa Margarita Kit that comes with all the margarita fixings and a free shirt. Deals starts at 11 a.m. and run through 9:00 p.m.


Ajo Al’s  Ajo Al’s has four locations in the Phoenix area and this Cinco de Mayo they are offering their Cinco Family Packs and BYO Exotico Kits! Choose from their $50 Pollo Con Queso Family Pack, $50 BYO Street Taco Pack or a $50 Party Tray. They are also serving up $25 Appetizer Family Pack and $40 Tequila Exotico BYO Margarita Kit. Blanco Tacos + Tequila  Both the Phoenix Biltmore and Scottsdale Borgata locations will be offering a $50 Family Pack for Cinco de Mayo that comes with machaca beef tacos, corn and flour tortillas, green chile chicken enchiladas, black beans and rice, queso, guacamole and chips with salsa. A few additional items are also being offered as add-ons too for an additional cost too including margaritas with all the fixings. California Pizza Kitchen – When you think CPK, you don’t normally think tacos, but this year CPK will be offering taco kits with margaritas this Tuesday. Taco Kits come with tortillas, tomatoes, black beans, serrano pepper, onions, shredded cheese, cilantro and limes. Pricing for kids are $15 for chicken kits, $20 for mahi kits and $24 for steaks kits. Margaritas can be added for additional $32. You can order by calling your local CPK or ordering online.

CRUjiente Tacos – CRUjiente is offering curbside pick-up for Cinco de Mayo with three crunchy beef tacos for $15, three pork belly tacos for $12, salsa trio with tortilla chips for $5 and guacamole chips for $9. You can place your order by calling 602-687-7777.

Huss – Cinco de Mayo made easy with $9 cinco burritos with pineapple citrus slow cooked carnitas or chicken and choice of fixing. They also have a build your own nacho bar for four to six people for $19 with all the fixing. Guacamole is extra for both. They are also offering drink specials – Arizona Michelada Kit for $19 and a Cinco de 12 Pack for $14 which includes a variety of beers. You can preorder online.

Lakeside Bar & Grill – The Lakeside Bar & Grill in Phoenix will be offering take out margaritas this Cinco de Mayo. 16 oz margaritas are $6, $25 for a new growler plus margarita ($20 for growler refill). Mexican beers will be $3 per pint or $20 for a new growler ($15 for growler refill). Rolled chicken tacos will be available for $9.99 which comes with four tacos, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and salsa verde. Tamales with rice and beans will be available for $11.99. Single carnitas or ground beef tacos will be available for $3 each. Lovecraft – This Cinco de Mayo enjoy a Feast-O De Mayo pack which includes AZ Paloma Margaritas, green chile queso dip, chips, salsa, taco bar with choice of protein between brisket, pulled pork, chicken or mushrooms, and horchata rice pudding for two people for $50. Also, taco style is between traditional which is cilantro/onion or lovecraft which is guacamole/creamy slaw. Nando’s Mexican Cafe – Nando’s has four locations which include in Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler and Queen Creek. This Cinco de Mayo, the chain is offering several deals to celebrate. Their Taco Tuesday deal includes three Barrio tacos with choice of meat, rice and beans for $10. Their Double the Fun deal is six Barrio tacos with choice of meat, rice, beans and two house margaritas for $25, and Timbo’s Taco Special which is 10 tacos (chicken, shredded beef, or ground beef), half pan of beans, half pan of rice, large chips, salsa and four house margaritas for $55). They will have a margarita drive-thru open at all locations from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. with house margaritas, chips, salsa, queso dip and guacamole.

PHX Beer Co. – This Cinco de Mayo, in addition to their regular curbside menu, crowlers, growlers and packaged beer, their Scottsdale location will be offering a few deals. $5 Baja fish tacos, $5 pork tacos and $5 chips and salsa. Someburros – Celebrating Cinco de Mayo with $2.25 crispy tacos with shredded beef, shredded chicken, ground beef and potato. You can place orders online, through Someburros app, on the phone, or through DoorDash.

Tucson Area Deals

El Charro Cafe  In Tucson, there is no other restaurant quite known for their authenticity like this gem of a restaurant. They’re offering a two taco entree, two Corona Beer special and you can choose from shredded beef, shredded chicken or carnitas tacos. El Charro is also making a classic and prickly pear margarita that you can take home.

Reforma is known to have the largest selection of tequila in Arizona! Just for Cinco de Mayo, this local restaurant is crafting Mexican Candy Shots for $4, but if you prefer to stick to holiday tradition, their house margaritas will be discounted to $6. Reforma is also making a dinner for two, which will include a salad to share, two entrees and a dessert for $30. Of course you can always grab some tacos. Reforma offers a fried cauliflower taco, which can be made vegan!

Sonoran Brunch Company has a great meal deal for the whole family. They’ll be offering six birria tacos, a cheese quesadilla, beans, rice, chips and salsa for $19.99. This Mexican/ American fusion restaurant is also discounting their grinders and dessert frybread to just $5. If you haven’t eaten here yet, you definitely won’t be disappointed.

The Parish will wet your whistle this 5th of May as the remix an old classic with their flavor-infused tequila. You can choose between the Strawbanero — a refreshing combo with a spicy kick, or the Mango Mint — a cool spin on a sweet favorite.
