According to a new analysis from WalletHub, Phoenix has been placed in the list of top warm destinations to visit for people going on their winter vacation.

The analysis shows metro Phoenix as one of the go-to destinations for people who want to avoid a chilly winter. If people want to spend their winter vacation in an area that’ll offer them warm weather, then Phoenix is an option they should definitely look into.

Metro Phoenix was placed at number four in the list of ‘Warm Destination’ which was part of the analysis done by WalletHub. The destinations above Phoenix happen to be Las Vegas (at the top), followed by Los Angeles and then Carlsbad at number three.

The analysis doesn’t come as a surprise to residents of Phoenix. However, it is still something to feel proud of. Being ranked amongst the top five warm destinations means that soon numerous people will start arriving as the winter chill nears. The economy benefits from visitors who want to experience what Phoenix has to offer during their vacation.

The WallHub analysis also included the top destinations offering cold weather for winter travelers. The list was topped by Atlanta, followed by New York, Albuquerque, and Kansas City coming in at number four.

In order to compile the current lists, the flight data of two weeks for sixty-nine of U.S.A’s largest metro areas were analyzed by WalletHub. The data was then compared to a total of twenty-six key metrics. The key metrics included the number of attractions that each destination had to offer, the cost of the cheapest flight to a destination, lowest local costs, activities offered by each destination, and more.

Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale came in at number 5 for the key metrics concerning ‘Lowest Travel Costs & Fewest Hassles’ in the new analysis. Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington, Texas ranked number one.
