Phoenix Police are asking the public for help in finding a 17-year-old who is wanted in connection to the murder of his cousin that occurred near Interstate 17 and Dunlap Avenue.

Officers report that on Monday, Sir Amir Williamson, 17, got into an argument with his cousin, 18-year-old Elijah Johnson at a Phoenix motel. During that argument, Williamson allegedly shot and killed Johnson.

Williamson is considered armed and dangerous. Authorities ask that you do not approach the suspect but dial 911 immediately.

Anyone with information about the shooting or Williamson’s whereabouts is asked to call the Phoenix Police Department or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO for Spanish speakers.
