Phoenix police are searching for a suspect after a man was critically injured in a stabbing Sunday evening in central Phoenix.
Officers responded around 7:20 p.m. to reports of a man bleeding near Central and Oregon avenues, just north of Camelback Road. When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from stab wounds and provided emergency assistance before he was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators have not released the identity of the victim or any description of the suspect. Police also have not disclosed what led to the stabbing or whether the victim and suspect knew each other.
The suspect remains at large as detectives continue to investigate. Phoenix police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Silent Witness, where tips can be provided anonymously as investigators work to identify and locate the person responsible.
