Phoenix Police Officer Arrested For Alleged Sex Crimes

Over the weekend, a Phoenix police officer was arrested for alleged sex crimes.

Phoenix police report that early Sunday morning on Oct. 16, they arrested Michael Martinez, 30,  and charged him with solicitation of prostitution.

Phoenix Police department officials said that an administrative investigation is underway. During the process, Martinez will be assigned to his home.


At this time, Phoenix police say they have no current evidence to indicate any sex act occurred on duty or in a police vehicle. No other information has been released.
