Phoenix officially opened its newest community recreation destination this week, cutting the ribbon on the South Mountain Activity Complex on Thursday alongside residents and community partners.
The complex, located at 10401 S. Central Avenue, sits within South Mountain Park and Preserve — one of the largest municipal parks in the United States. It offers residents on the south side of the city a new dedicated space for recreational activities and community gatherings.
