In a 3rd annual partnership, the North Central Women’s League plans are under way to make Prom extra special this for many valley students.
In an ongoing partnership with the East Valley Women’s League’s Cinderella Affair, the philanthropic groups are working together to collect and distributes new and gently used formal wear and accessories for lower income girls to wear to their junior or senior proms. The students receive the donated items for free, which in addition to formal wear can include shoes, purse and jewelry.
The North Central Women’s League will volunteer on the two distribution days in April, as well as collect dresses and accessories during the entire month of February. If the community has items they wilsh to donate, drop-off locations in North Central Phoenix include Flip Dunk Sports, 1515 E. Bethany Home Road; Write-Ons, 6201 N. 7th St.; Muse Apparel, 100 E. Camelback Road and Frances, 10 W. Camelback Road.
