A motorcycle collision near Mesa Gateway Airport left one rider dead and another injured on Sunday, according to the Mesa Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene Sunday morning, where they found two motorcyclists who had collided. One of the riders was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The other was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Detectives have not yet determined the cause of the crash, and no additional information has been released.
The investigation remains ongoing.
