OASIS is a nonprofit organization in partnership with the Madison School District, the partnership pair’s tutors with students who are kindergarden through fourth grade that need literacy support. The program serves elementary schools in Camelview, Heights, Simis, and Rose Lane school districts.
The OASIS Intergenerational Tutoring Program is for adults who are interested in helping children with reading, writing, and communication. Tutors help students once a week for an hour during the school day. Tutors also receive training, proper materials, and a bag.
