NFL to Host Women’s Career Forum in Phoenix

The National Football League (NFL) is heading to Arizona. The ever-popular sports company is coming once again for annual meetings that they hold at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa.

However, the annual meetings are not the only reasons for the company to make this visit to “The Valley of the Sun.” The sports giant will also host a Women’s Career Development Forum at the Biltmore  that will span over two days. The goal of the forum is to focus on the career paths and the diversification within the NFL camp. This forum will comprise of 40 different female executives from a variety of departments throughout the league.

Panels will be filled with speakers that include the president of the Arizona Cardinals, Michael Bidwill. Also in attendance will be President of the Los Angeles Chargers, John Spanos, NFL’s Senior Vice President of Officiating, Dean Blandino, and NFL Director of Football Development, Samantha Rapoport.


That isn’t the only impact the NFL is looking to make in Arizona. Over Friday and Saturday, the NFL will also host tryouts for veteran free agents at the Arizona Cardinals’ training facility in Tempe. These tryouts will be conducted via video. The veteran free agents will be evaluated by representatives of all 32 teams in the NFL.
