NAU Campus Police Investigating Sexual Assault Allegations Of A Student In A Dorm

Northern Arizona University police are searching for a suspect after a student reported they were sexually assaulted in an on campus dorm room.

In a report to NAU police, the student said they were pulled into an on-campus apartment on Sunday and was sexually assaulted into the morning hours of Monday. The suspect is described as a Hispanic or Asian man with a short beard, no mustache. He is approximately 6′3″ in height with a thin but muscular toned build.

According to the NAU report, the alleged attack occurred near Pine Ridge Village. This housing is an on campus apartment-style community that houses primarily juniors, seniors, and graduate students and sits just west of the university’s main stadium, the J. Lawrence Walkup Skydome.
