PHOENIX — A motorcycle crash in southwest Phoenix on Friday night left one man dead after he collided with a metal fence, according to police.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene near 50th Avenue and Southern Avenue around 5:45 p.m., where they found an unresponsive rider lying on the ground. Fire personnel determined that the man, identified as 38-year-old Julio Suarez, had succumbed to his injuries.
What Led to the Crash?
Preliminary investigations indicate that Suarez lost control of his motorcycle while accelerating past 51st Avenue and Southern Avenue. Authorities confirmed that no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
