Two people were critically injured Monday morning after a motorcycle collided with a pedestrian in north Phoenix, according to police.
The crash happened around 10:15 a.m. near Second Street and Dunlap Avenue, where investigators say a woman riding a motorcycle struck a man crossing the street.
Both the rider and the pedestrian were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries and required surgery, the Phoenix Police Department said.
No additional details about the cause of the crash or the identities of those involved have been released.
The investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
