MLK Day: Free State Park Admission for Arizona Residents

On Monday, why not get outside and enjoy what the beautiful state parks in Arizona have to offer?

On Monday, January 17, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, all Arizona residents will get free admission to more than 30 state parks. Visitors will be required to show an Arizona ID and all entrance fees will be waived. All camping, hotel, and tour fees still apply.

It is important to note that fees will still apply for tours at Kartchner Caverns and Riordan Mansion state parks, camping and special events.

In addition, the U.S. National Parks will also have free admission on Jan. 17. The  three national parks in Arizona that include the free admission are Grand Canyon, Saguaro, and Petrified Forest.
