Mesa Community College Offers Class to Develop Apps

Students at Mesa Community College now have the opportunity, to take classes to develop apps for Apple apart of Apple’s new app development curriculum. The new program is designed for students who want to pursue careers in the fast-growing app economy. Mesa Community College is one of six schools in the community college system across country, serving nearly 500,000 students to offer the new curriculum.

“It’s a programming opportunity,” said Linda Collins, who heads the school’s business and information department.

The Alabama Community College System, Columbus State Community College, Harrisburg Area Community College, Houston Community College, and San Mateo Community College district will also be offering the new curriculum said Apple officials.
