MC Companies Ranks Third Nationally in Move For Hunger Food Drive

MC Companies has established itself as a vital contributor within Move For Hunger’s network of multifamily real estate companies that have successfully integrated charitable giving into their operational framework.

MC Companies — a multifamily real estate investment, development, construction and management company based in Scottsdale and Tucson — collected 10,399 pounds of food for the nonprofit Move For Hunger, making it the third-highest donor in the country.

But the donors that edged out MC Companies are twelve times larger in terms of units managed.

MC Companies is committed to supporting its community and taking corporate social responsibility.

“We’re thrilled about where we ranked and always intend to do more, not just through food donations but with volunteer efforts through Sharing the Good Life,” said Lyn Marquis, philanthropy director for MC Companies and president of the company’s Sharing the Good Life Foundation.

Move For Hunger, established in 2009, has delivered more than 57 million pounds of food to food banks across the United States and Canada. The organization creates sustainable solutions to reduce food waste and fight hunger by collecting nonperishable food items and delivering them to local food banks.
