Maricopa County Home & Garden Show Returns To Scottsdale in October

Are you a homeowner who is looking to repair, redecorate, reconstruct or redesign? Be sure to mark your calendar for a one stop shop at all things home and garden. The Maricopa County Home & Garden Show returns to Westworld of Scottsdale in October.

The valley’s annual event is taking place October 15-17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. In addition to meeting a variety of local businesses, artisans and home improvement companies, attendees can shop fall-inspired indoor and outdoor decorating items at the Valley’s largest home show in the southwest.

“Our fall event displays an array of inspiration for Arizonans to spruce up their home for the holiday season with one-of-a-kind décor with the best deals in design, remodeling and landscape,” Katie Jones, show manager, said in a press release.

“Guests can enjoy DIY workshops, free gardening and crafting classes, complimentary home improvement consultations and more.”

Among the attractions is the new “Garden of the World” landscape competition.

“For the first time ever at the Home Show, you can transport to different regions of the world by walking through the elaborate ‘Gardens of the World’ attraction and vote for your favorite gardenscape,” Jones said.

Landscape presentations include an Arabian Nights-inspired garden, an All-American backyard with plenty of red, white and blue pride, a royal garden inspired by a French Chateau, and a winter wonderland of Norway.

The cost for general admission is $5 each day for adults, with kids ages 3-12 being $2. Children under the age of two are free.

A variety of discounts for general admission can be found on the official website.

A food court and ATMs will be onsite. Only cash will be accepted. Onsite parking requires cash as well and is $10. A large food court and ATMs will also be onsite.
