Man Shot Outside Tempe Bar, Hospitalized in Critical Condition

Suspect remains at large after daylight shooting near Casey Moore’s

PHOENIX — A man in his 30s was hospitalized in critical condition Saturday after being shot multiple times in a parking lot outside Casey Moore’s Oyster House in Tempe, police said.

Tempe officers responded just before 3 p.m. to reports of gunfire near Ash Avenue and Ninth Street. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the stomach. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition.

Suspect not yet identified


The shooter fled the scene and has not been located, according to authorities. However, police said there is no ongoing threat to the public.

Investigation continues

Tempe police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to contact them at 480-350-8311. No further details have been released as the investigation remains active.
