Phoenix police are investigating a possible road-rage shooting that left one man injured Saturday evening near Interstate 10.

Investigators say the confrontation began around 75th Avenue near the freeway after an argument at a red light. The situation escalated as both vehicles continued traveling, leading to gunfire a few miles away near Loop 202 and Van Buren Street, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

The Phoenix Fire Department transported one man to a nearby hospital with at least one gunshot wound. His injuries were described as non-life-threatening.

Police have not released any suspect details, and the investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO.

Saturday’s incident was the second road-rage shooting in the Phoenix area this week. Earlier in the week, another driver was shot in the leg along Interstate 10 near 43rd Avenue, prompting extended road closures.
