Police say a man has been arrested in the shooting death of his brother in a west Phoenix home.
On Sunday night, Phoenix police say officers were called to an area near 84th Avenue and Indian School Road around 7:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting.
Once at the scene, police located a man who was identified as 46-year-old Armando Carrillo, he was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators at the scene learned the shooting suspect was 42-year-old Daniel Carrillo, the brother of thevictim. The suspect had fled the scene but police were able to later locate and take him into custody. He was booked into jail.
The investigation is ongoing, it is not yet known what led to the shooting incident.
