Maryvale High School briefly went into lockdown Tuesday evening after an unusual situation unfolded on campus, prompting a swift response from Phoenix police.
Authorities were called to the school, near 59th Avenue and Osborn Road, around 6:10 p.m. after reports that a man had climbed onto the roof of the school’s gym. Officers arriving on scene quickly secured the area while initiating переговоры with the individual.
After a short exchange, the man agreed to come down voluntarily and was taken into custody without further incident.
