Local Water Park Wet ’n’ Wild Is Now Six Flags Hurricane Harbor

A local water park is going through a big change after being purchased by a national name. What used to be known as Wet ‘n’ Wild will now be known as Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix.

The name isn’t the only thing that is changing after Six Flags bought Wet ‘n’ Wild’s lease last year. Some new renovations are visible as soon as visitors arrive at the 35-acre park, with a Caribbean-style entrance now added. Throughout the park, there will be more seating and a newly renovated dining area. Many of the rides have also been spruced up with a new coat of paint and updated entrances. The park still contains more than 30 attractions, such as water slides and wave pools.

The Six Flags brand also has its benefits for some potential park patrons. If you are a Six Flags member or you have a season pass to the parks, you are granted unlimited visits to the newly-renovated water park. These season passes’ prices begin at $57.

For those who are looking to check out the changes to the park, it will open on March 16. If you are a Six Flags member, you can get a sneak preview of the updates from March 9-10.
