There’s no shortage of good food to choose from in Phoenix, but if you’ve ever wanted to dine in the Valley at a place that’s made a list for having the best in the country, now’s your chance. 

Thrillist just released a list of 31 best places in the country to get a burger and Phoenix-based eatery, The Stand, is among the burger joints to make the cut. It’s the only Arizona restaurant named on the list.

The Stand has two locations in Arizona: Arcadia and Scottsdale. 

The Arcadia location, near Indian School Road and 36th Street, is straightforward and its only food options consist of burgers and fries.

The Scottsdale location, located on Scottsdale Road and Shea Boulevard, has a slightly larger menu offering burgers, tacos, and hot dogs.  Not in the mood for one of the best burgers in the country?  You can try out their short rib tacos, chicken tacos, a Sonoran Hot Dog, or one of the vegetarian options.  Wine, beer, and cocktails are also available at the Scottsdale location.

Their famous Standard Burger is just that: your standard burger with lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, and onion, but with the tasty addition of their signature Stand Sauce.  The burgers are ground daily in-house, and there is also an option to add-on roasted jalapeños, thick-cut bacon, or butter caramelized onions.

Both locations offer specialty drinks such as horchata in addition to hand-spun shakes with bold flavors like salted dulce de leche and chocolate chile.
