Authorities in Arizona are investigating the death of a Las Vegas woman whose body was discovered inside a cardboard box in the desert east of Kingman last month.
The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to a remote wash area near Windmill Ranch Road on Sept. 5 after a caller reported a suspicious package. The witness told dispatchers they believed the large box contained a body.
When deputies arrived, they confirmed the discovery of 57-year-old Carolyn Ann Bosher. Investigators later identified her through fingerprints.
Another witness reported seeing a truck parked near the wash the night before the box was found. The vehicle’s trunk was open, but because it was dark, the witness was unable to provide a description.
Detectives said there was no indication Bosher had been killed at the scene, though her exact cause of death has not yet been released. Investigators are working with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, which had arrested Bosher on an indecent exposure charge less than a week before her body was located.
The case remains under investigation. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office at (928) 753-0753 and reference case number DR# 25-033587.
