Lake Pleasant To Host Country Music Festival In October

Bring on the boots and the boats!

This fall, the city of Peoria will host a new country music festival at Lake Pleasant.

Peoria Country Music Fest will feature live music from four acts — Chad Freeman, Rob West, Hillbilly Deluxe and Josh Roy on Oct. 19 at Pleasant Harbor, the marina on the lake’s southeastern shore. The festival will run from 2:00-11:00 p.m and will feature food trucks, a beer garden, live bull riding and other fun attractions.


“Peoria Country Music Fest is going to showcase some of the best country music around at a one-of-a-kind location,” Peoria Vice Mayor Bridget Binsbacher said in a release. “We are so proud to have beautiful Lake Pleasant in our city with easy access and the perfect spot to kick up your heels for an entire weekend of entertainment and fun.”

Tickets can be purchased in advance on the festival’s website for $15 per person The price will increase to $20 at the door. Children 12 and under are $5.

There are a limited number of VIP tickets available for purchase. The VIP access includes two complimentary drink tickets, a complimentary meal at the harbor’s Dillon’s Bayou Restaurant and access to a special seating area that will have a dedicated cash bar for $45 per person.

Festival goers should also be aware that ticket prices do not include entry into the Lake Pleasant harbor. Vehicle entrance at the harbor is $10.

In addition, if attendees wish to camp at the lake, campsite purchases can be made through the festival website.
