The NFL is breaking the bank on a performance that is to include some big show stunts like dropping from the ceiling of the NRG Stadium in Houston. A large budget will be required for this stunt in order for it to meet safety standards.
The NFL had reportedly warned Gaga that she is not to make any political statements during the show but the NFL denied the rumor and gave Gaga the go ahead to be as political as she wanted and say anything she wants to about new US president Donald Trump. A source told Entertainment Weekly that Gaga was not interested in making her performance about politics and had never even considered the idea. Gaga is an outspoken advocate of Hilary Clinton, equality and LGBT causes but it remains to be seen whether or not her 12 minutes – the most watched 12 minutes of entertainment in America – will be used to denounce Trump.
