If you are in need of some extra cash this holiday season, look no further than your local Kohl’s. The company announced this week that they will be hiring 90,000 employees nationwide for the Holiday season.

They are planning a hiring event for Oct. 5 at all stores. They hope to hire 5,000 seasonal employees in one day.

The company said that potential employees can interview for open positions and will have the possibility to be offered a position on the spot.

Online fulfillment needs will increase during the holiday season. Kohl’s wants to hire 7,000 individuals to help with their “omni power center” to help with digital orders. They aim to equip them with more inventory, technology and process enhancements to allow associates to be more efficient with digital orders.

Holiday employees will also be offered a 15% discount at Kohl’s 1,100 locations across the U.S.

Kohl’s began their holiday hiring back in July at 500 locations. Kohl’s seasonal application process is available on desktop, mobile and in-store platforms, the company said.
