Katy Perry Visiting Arizona In Upcoming Tour

Pop icon, Katy Perry, will be hitting the road for the first time in two years. With the announcement of her upcoming “Witness” tour, she will be bringing her musical talents to Arizona, which hasn’t happened since her 2015 Super Bowl performance. Glendale’s own Gila River Arena will host the occasion on Jan 19th, 2018. This summer (June 9) she will release her upcoming album, which shares the same name as her tour.

New Inspiration For Fans
During her tour performances, Perry is likely to sprinkle in some of her upcoming singles from the new album, as well as old familiar hits. The album will feature catchy guest performances by artists such as Migos and Skip Marley. Similarly to her earlier work, the album is meant to inspire listeners.

Perry, who temporarily lived in Paradise Valley, plays on September 7th in Columbus Ohio to kick off the tour. Details about purchasing pre-sale tickets can be found on her website. Otherwise, sales begin on the 22nd of May.

A Long Awaited Visit To Arizona
Fans of Katy Perry in Arizona have eagerly anticipated another performance. This time, however, she will be taking her talents outside of Phoenix. Her former halftime performance at the Arizona Cardinals stadium, was the highest-rated halftime show in terms of viewers. Surprisingly, the show only lasted around 12 minutes. Around 118.5 million people tuned into the performance. The performance was only bolstered by the presence of both Missy Elliott and Lenny Kravitz.

Fans planning to purchase tickets to the tour, can expect to hear some of Perry’s  well known hits that include “Roar” and “I Kissed A Girl”. Vancouver, will ultimately serve as the tour’s final destination, on February 5th.
