Jay-Z to Bring Tour for ‘4:44’ to Phoenix in the Fall

Fresh off of the release of his latest album “4:44”, Jay-Z has announced his concert tour of the same name. This ten track album which is already certified platinum by the RIAA, features notable artists such as Beyonce, Damian Marley and Frank Ocean. What could be the one the last few releases from Jay-Z, “4:44” is well on its way to critical acclaim with rave reviews from Rolling Stone and Pitchfork.  He’s managed to work his way to the top of iTunes charts in 39 countries.

In the newest addition to the rapper’s discography, he details the focal points of his current lifestyle as well as the culture that surrounds him. He even responds to controversies like Beyonce’s Lemonade and her sister Solange’s elevator dispute. Jay-Z shows us that he hasn’t missed a beat since 2013 as he floats over production from veteran producer No I.D.  The most successful song currently making headlines is called “The Story of O.J.” It’s accompanied by a video with Disney styled animation which you can watch here. Shaping up to be the biggest release of the year, it’s a must-listen for fans of the genre.  If you find yourself wanting more, there are three bonus tracks included in the physical release of the album.

On November 3rd, this tour is scheduled to come through our very own city of Phoenix at the Talking Stick Resort Arena. Subscribers to Jay-Z’s streaming platform Tidal were able to purchase pre-release tickets this Monday. Tickets to the general public are on sale. Prices start in the $40 range and grow increasingly more expensive as you search for seats closer to the action. Tickets are sure to sell out fast so don’t miss your chance!
