Social media personality and livestreamer Braden Peters — better known by his online moniker Clavicular — was arrested in Old Town Scottsdale over the weekend after police say he tried to enter a nightclub using a fake ID and was found carrying prescription drugs without authorization.
According to the Scottsdale Police Department, the 20-year-old was taken into custody on the night of February 7 outside Casa Amigos, near Scottsdale and Camelback Roads. Officers on bike patrol reportedly saw Peters filming with a group and attempting to enter another venue, Cake Nightclub, before he was eventually let inside Casa Amigos.
Police, aware that Peters was under the legal drinking age, coordinated with staff to remove him from the premises. When confronted, Peters presented an ID showing he was younger than 21, and officers subsequently detained him. A search revealed a forged identification card claiming he was of age, as well as two unprescribed pills — one identified as Adderall, a stimulant used to treat ADHD, and the other as Anavar, an anabolic steroid.
Court filings also allege that Peters had recently been seen in videos attempting to acquire Adderall from people in the same nightlife district.
Peters, a Florida resident, was booked on suspicion of possessing a forged instrument, attempting to enter a liquor establishment underage, and unlawful possession of controlled substances. The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office will review the case and determine formal charges. He was later released on his own recognizance and is expected to appear in Maricopa County Superior Court later this month.
The 20-year-old influencer has built a large online following centered on “looksmaxxing,” a controversial internet subculture that promotes intense physical enhancement strategies. Under the name Clavicular, Peters has amassed hundreds of thousands of followers on TikTok, Instagram, and the livestreaming site Kick — where court documents note he reportedly earned around $100,000 in January alone.
