A new community spot will soon join Uptown Plaza.

Huss Brewing Co. is set to open its second location in December in the newly renovated strip mall at Central Avenue and Camelback Road. The craft-beer spot will join other central Phoenix favorites including Lou Malnati’s, Creamistry and Shake Shack.

Huss Brewing will feature the brewery’s signature beers including Scottsdale Blonde and Husstler Milk Stout, as well as Phoenix-specific brews. Its menu will also feature light snacks.

This location is the second for husband and wife owners Jeff and Leah Huss. The pair opened their first location in Tempe in August 2013 with a 30-barrel system and have doubled its production capacity. Although, the Huss’ have been in the business long before they opened their breweries. Jeff brewed at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse in Chandler for seven years and Leah co-owned Papago Brewing Co. in Chandler for 14 years.
