Holiday Movie Magic Returns to Scottsdale Airport with ‘Elf’ Under the Stars

Free event offers a festive aviation-themed evening with Santa, food trucks, and family fun

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Scottsdale Airport is set to bring holiday cheer with a free, open-air movie night featuring Elf, the beloved holiday classic, on Saturday, Nov. 23. The event, hosted by Volanti Restaurant and Lounge and sponsored by Atlantic Aviation, Jet Aviation, and Signature Aviation, invites families and film fans for a unique holiday celebration at the airport.

Event Details:

  • Time: Gates open at 5 p.m., with the movie starting at 6 p.m.
  • Location: Scottsdale Airport, 15000 N. Airport Drive, Scottsdale, AZ 85260 (enter via the north gate of the main aviation building).
  • Parking: Free, across from the main aviation building.
  • Cost: Free, no reservation required.

Guests can bring lawn chairs to enjoy the screening, while food trucks, a beer and wine station, a static plane display, and a fire truck presentation add to the holiday festivities. Keep an eye out for Santa, who may make a surprise appearance. Pets, outside food, and beverages are not permitted.


“We’re thrilled to bring this festive night to the community,” said Aviation Director Gary P. Mascaro. “After the success of our first movie night, we knew we wanted to make this event a new tradition.”
