Governor Katie Hobbs is encouraging residents of Arizona’s 7th Congressional District to take part in the upcoming special election, reminding voters that early and mail-in options are available ahead of election day on September 23.
“The right to vote is a cornerstone of our democracy and should not be taken for granted,” Hobbs said in a statement. “I urge every eligible Arizonan in Congressional District 7 to make their voice heard. If a voter can’t vote on election day, they also have secure options to vote early, either in person or by mail.”
Key dates for early voting include:
September 12: Last day to request a mail-in ballot
September 16: Final recommended day to return ballots by mail
September 19: Deadline for in-person early voting
September 20 & 22: Emergency voting available
Voters can access county-specific election information through their local recorder’s office in Cochise, Maricopa, Pima, Pinal, Santa Cruz, and Yuma counties.
Hobbs emphasized that protecting and expanding access to the ballot box has been a central priority during her time in office. “Throughout my public service, I have always stood up for the right to vote and will continue to do so as long as I’m governor,” she said.
