Here’s How to Get Free French Fries to Celebrate National Fry Day

Today is not Friday, but it is almost Fry-Day and in honor of National French Fry Day, you can celebrate the delicious golden potatoes for free!

National French Fry Day is officially on Wednesday, July 13, and to celebrate, restaurant chains are offering free fries. Both Wendy’s and McDonald’s are both giving customers free fries this week.

On Wednesday, to celebrate National French Fry Day, McDonald’s will give away free orders of large fries, with no purchase necessary. However, guests must place the free order through the McDonald’s app, and customers must be members of McDonald’s loyalty program. Simply download the restaurant’s app and get a voucher for a free large order of fries on July 13 only. No purchase is necessary.


Starting Monday, July 11th, Wendy’s announced the beginning of Fry Week, the chain is offering free fries with specific purchases that will change each day this week. For example, on Tuesday Wendy’s customers can get free medium fries with any salad purchase, another day will be a free any size fry with a mobile order.

Fatburger in celebration is offering with any purchase made in-store or online from July 13-July 19, you can get a free order of Fat or Skinny Fries. You must either mention the promotion in-store or use code “FrenchFryDay22” online to redeem the deal. It is not valid on Sweet Potato Fries.

Checkers and Rally’s is looking to change Friday to Fry-day, so they’re offering a free medium order of fries to everyone who signs their petition. If you’re already a REWARDS App member, you’ll get a Fry Lover’s XL loaded in your app on July 13.

On July 13, White Castle fans can get a free small order of French fries with any purchase. Later in the month, they plan to offer a free dessert on a stick with any purchase in honor of National Cheesecake Day on July 30.

Burger King has announced plans that the chain will give away free French fries every single week this year to those who join its Royal Perks benefit program and purchase anything else on the menu.
