HBO Is Set To Document Sen. John McCain

Arizona, Sen. John McCain’s documentary is finally going to be here. According to the home box office(HBO), they have already started on production after the approval of the ailing senator. The senator agreed to have a documentary that featured him soon after he was diagnosed with having brain cancer.

Most of the documentary will be based on the interviews of people who know him better like family, workmates (former and current), friends and political figures. These are not the only people who will be interviewed; the senator will also be part of the interview with his speech and narration.

Archives of newsreel and television footage that were accessed by HBO will also be part of the documentary; these have not yet been seen in home movies. HBO explains the purpose of the film is to bring out the citizenship, and the focus Sen. McCain has on the crucial goals of America as a country.

Peter Kunhardt the Emmy winner and former executive producer of “Jim; The James Foley story” of 2016 will be the one directing Sen. McCain’s documentary. Peter Kunhardt believes Sen. John McCain to be an American hero and he has earned this reputation. Kunhardt continues to say the senator is still reminding the current generation of how a government should be.

Being a veteran of the United Navy, Sen. McCain was a prisoner of war during the Vietnam war which he overcame with a victory. He has been a senator for Arizona from 2000-2008 and then came back in 2010 until now. His health issues started on 14th July 2017 when he underwent a craniotomy, and since then his health has been deteriorating.

The senator is currently battling with brain cancer, and nobody knows when he’ll be back in the senatorial office. He hasn’t let his health issues come in his way for advocating for his believes in making America better. He is indeed a soldier and a hero who deserves better, and it is a hope the documentary will be received heartily by the people of Arizona and the world in general.
