Glendale Police Seek Help Identifying Persons of Interest in Deadly Restaurant Shooting

Photos released as investigators search for leads in triple homicide case

PHOENIX — The Glendale Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying three persons of interest connected to a deadly shooting that occurred Sunday night at El Camaron Gigante Mariscos & Steakhouse, near 57th Drive and Glendale Avenue.

Three people were killed and five others wounded in the shooting, which began after a fight broke out at a separate event earlier that evening. Police believe there was more than one shooter, but no arrests have been made yet.

On Thursday, police released photos of the three individuals they want to speak with, noting they may have vital information about the incident.

Earlier today, Glendale police spokesperson Moroni Mendez said in a news release, “We met with the case agent and homicide supervisors, and they have asked us to share the following images of three individuals investigators wish to speak with.”

He added, “To be clear, these individuals are persons of interest, not suspects, and we believe they may have vital information important to this case.”

The department also launched an online portal to collect photos and videos from the public related to the shooting.

Police said the people involved in the shooting likely knew each other and emphasized that the investigation remains active.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Glendale Police Department at 623-920-3000, or to submit an anonymous tip through Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (948-6377) or 480-TESTIGO (837-8446) for Spanish.
