PHOENIX — A 46-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife while she was receiving hospice care in Gilbert, authorities announced.
Gilbert police responded to a memory care facility near Lindsay and Williams Field roads shortly after 9 a.m. on June 11. Staff reported that a 58-year-old woman was found dead around 3 a.m. with “suspicious bruising and markings.”
Detectives later interviewed Justin Davidson, who allegedly admitted to having a “direct involvement” in her death. He was arrested on one count of first-degree murder and booked into the custody of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
The woman’s name has not been released.
