PHOENIX — Gateway Classic Cars is moving its Valley showroom from north Phoenix to a state-of-the-art facility in Peoria, becoming the first tenant at Greystar’s new Caliber development.
The company, known for its collection of classic, exotic, muscle, vintage, and antique cars, signed a lease for 43,809 square feet in Building B of Caliber, a three-building industrial campus at 79th and Grand avenues, just 2 miles east of Loop 101.
Part of Greystar’s $500 million Peoria Place master plan, the Caliber development includes luxury apartments, build-to-rent homes, and retail spaces designed to revitalize Peoria’s downtown area.
“Caliber gives Gateway flexible, well-priced, first-generation commercial-industrial space that will help maximize its operational success,” said Wil Hogue, Greystar’s industrial development director. “We are thrilled to welcome Gateway Classic Cars to Caliber as our first lease at this stand-out project.”
The move from the current location near 19th Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road marks a significant step for Gateway Classic Cars, which operates 20 showrooms nationwide and is headquartered in O’Fallon, Illinois, a suburb of St. Louis.
As part of its commitment to community engagement, Gateway Classic Cars hosts monthly family-friendly collectible car showcases called Caffeine and Chrome.
“The Caliber development and Greystar’s Peoria Place master plan align perfectly with our goals to be active within the local community,” said Ken Dusman, director of marketing for Gateway Classic Cars. “The convenient Loop 101 access and modern features of Caliber make it an ideal location for our sustained presence in metro Phoenix.”
Peoria Place continues to develop as a key mixed-use destination, with construction progressing across its 88-acre footprint. Gateway Classic Cars’ relocation adds momentum to the ambitious project, setting the stage for further growth and community involvement.
